I first got into poetry in junior high.  I scribbled small fragments, eventually getting to the  point of understanding that it wasn't a requirement to rhyme, and that there was a distinction  between run-of-the-mill poetry and great poetry.  I started writing sonnets.

     Alterations & Modifications is the (near completed) writing compilation from 1998-2002.  Although it contains short stories and a few journal entries, it is mostly poetry and lyrics,  containing around 100 of those entries.

      In 2001 and 2002, I shifted my writing focus from poetry to fiction.  Nowadays, my main  link with respects to poetry is helping others in the revision process.  The amount of poems in  which I write has been cut down to around half a dozen each year.
