Is it a book or a collection of stories? Why exactly do I have to decide? Can't it be both at the same time? The Midvale stories are a love/hate cycle of
interrelated stories mostly set in a small town in Pennsylvania named Midvale. Short stories, plot ideas, fragments, poetry, and other bits will all compiled
into one cohesive project.
Readers will get acquainted with characters, places, and ideas that might crop up later as part of a bigger work. Yet they have their own substance, their own place in the Midvale world. I like that I can drop characters off there until I can figure out exactly what is going to happen to them and something might happen, but if not, there will always be fodder in Midvale, a repository of characters, plots, and ideas.
